Written, arranged and produced entirely by Isobel Campbell, Hawk was recorded in Scotland, England and the United States. Across 13 tracks, the duo stretch beyond country-folk into Southern soul, garage rock and gospel, while keeping that close, intimate pull at the centre.

Highlights include You Won’t Let Me Down Again, featuring a guitar solo from former Smashing Pumpkins guitarist James Iha, the slow-burning Come Undone, and versions of Snake Song and No Place To Fall, with guest vocals from Willy Mason. Closing track Lately lands with a brass-lit gospel lift.
